It was a pleasure to work with Bart Bols from Business Markers. Bart quickly adapted to the specific needs and challenges of Top-Jumps. Not easy in the international niche market of equestrian events. In a co-creative and pragmatic way, we have worked out a strong strategic plan together. With a very positive result, mainly due to a consistent follow-up.
The Business Markers rocket export model and Bram’s expert advice, really helped us determine a clear international strategy and action plan for Verhofsté’s bike mobility solutions, steel constructions and public toilets. My team and I use it on a regular basis as a pragmatic checklist for an effective implementation.
Working with Business Markers was a very good experience for us. We were guided through our workshop in a structured way and with a visible thread. The understanding, the picking up and recognition of the topics that were important for us by Business Markers was one of the cornerstones for a successful cooperation. We did an OGSM exercise with Business Markers 3 years ago, this helped us make the right strategic choices. This year, we decided to do the exercise again and adjust where necessary. OGSM helps our team understand the business objective and goals in a simple way, but at the same time gives clarity at the departmental level on who should do what, and by when.
Formalising our OGSM with Lucia, Serge and the marketing and brand team was so impactful in driving alignment and clear communications across countries and functions, that it soon resulted in repeating the exercise on company level. Since then the OGSM has been our key North Star in budget, project, town hall and work planning meetings.
Under the pleasant guidance of Ides, we were able to redefine our strategic plan. The process we embarked on was far from easy, but everything went perfectly and we were able to develop many new ideas. It was a special experience and we are very satisfied with the result: our teams are enthusiastic and eager to put the words into action.
In the run-up to the formulation of a new policy plan, it was enlightening and inspiring to bring together the strategic insights of our directors, with Bob’s help, into a clear and concise concrete plan with clear objectives and allocated ownership.
